I have uncovered a O.F Mossberg & Sons INC. Model 20 22 Cal. rifle. the rifle barrel has some discolorization after being cleaned. it is missing the butt plate and strap. the rifle assembly mechanisms do work and is complete. what would the value of this rifle be ?

$50 is high I do not think it is 70% and that is the 70% number.
More like $25-$35

The Model 20 is one of the Mossberg models that is a bit hard to find.

Personally I, today, wouldn't pay much for it. But, there are more Mossberg collectors than there are Model 20's so in a gun auction it might go for more than the estimates or the Blue Book.

Agreed. I purchased one at a gunshow several years ago that was missing bolt. In the 4-5 years I owned it I was only able to locate 1 bolt. And the seller wanted $100. for it. I did not buy it. But I doubled my $ on it by selling the still incomplete rifle for $30.
