There is a definite lesson to be learned here.

It's no secret that New York City has some of the nation's strictest gun control laws. But there are a lucky few residents permitted to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights. Harlem grandmother Margaret Johnson is one of them:
This pistol-packing granny, who shot a man she accused of mugging her in her wheelchair, wishes she had finished the job—because now, he's suing her for millions.

"I'm a peaceful person. I wish that I had killed him," said Margaret Johnson, 59, whose grandfather, Ellsworth "Bumpy" Johnson, once ruled Harlem's underworld and was immortalized in several hit movies....

Johnson and her landlord, the Lenox Terrace apartment complex, are being sued for $5 million by Deron Johnson, 48, a man with a lengthy rap sheet.

Margaret Johnson, a retired city bus driver who has a dislocated hip and a ruptured disc, said that in September 2006, she was sitting in her motorized wheelchair at Lenox Avenue and 133rd Street when Johnson tried to snatch her purse and gold chain.

She pulled out her licensed .357 Magnum and fired a round into his left elbow. Cops grabbed him moments later.

The sad end to this story is, that the mugger will probably win his law-suit.

Is it wrong of me to wish that a large septic tank truck would run over this t**d and then put him where he belongs by vacuuming up the evidence of his existence.

Like my Dad used to tell,

Never point a gun at anybody
If you point a gun at somebody, shoot them.
If you shoot them, kill them.
So therefore never point a gun at anybody unless you HAVE to.

I do wonder if the Son of Sam law would apply and prevent this perp from profiting from his crime. He could win the suit and the money could go to the state.

This is precisely the problem with the degradation of todays society and all the lefties...
This type of lawsuit should NOT be allowed or entertained.
It all started way back when, when that idiot spilled her coffee on herself and sued McDonalds, and the idiotic jury awarded her all those millions.
She's the same type person who'd of tried to sue cause it wasn't hot enough. Good grief. Gimme a break. It's COFFEE!! It's supposed to be HOT!! IDIOT!!

This punk preys on an old person, ina wheel chair no less, and got what he deserved (not completely) and now is trying to sue for an injury which he brought on himself.

These type lawsuits should not be entertained.
There should be laws in place to prevent such.

First thief doesn't get his ill-gotten gains. Instead, those ill-gotten gains go to a different thief.
