i found a new 30 cal Troy ind claymore muzzlebrake. Can I install that on my 7.62x39 AR given the projectile is 312 not 308. I called Troy and " the guy" was out who could answer. I put the round in it and the brass at the neck seemed to fit in.

    And the threads match yes.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't have the claymore muzzle brake on my 7.62X39 but I am going to guess that the hole in the muzzle brake is going to be big enough on yours. I can't see any company making it with just a .308 or .311 hole for the projectile to pass through. The alignment would have to be perfect for every gun they sell the brake for. It is much bigger.
