Does look like fun! I was reading the white board and you are right quite expensive. I was also thinking, $15 to shoot 8 rounds through an M1 Garand - you gentlemen who shot mine at the BBQ last year own me some bucks!;)

    I saw that too.
    I snagged that photo.
I've handed a Garand and an enbloc over to folks 100's of times.
Man, what I could buy with all that cash :)

I'm not positive... I heard a local youth trap team will benefit... Not sure how much.

It could be the range itself and the Iowa Firearm Coalition will benefit

There is a place near Vinton, Iowa that holds full auto shoots every year. For $100 I got to shoot, I think, five different firearms when I went a couple of years ago. What is really evident while doing this is just how useless full-auto fire is other than clearing a room!!! But, It was fun!

I found a link to me having fun at that range

    Yep

The range is called "Sure Shot" in Mt Auburn, IA outside of Vinton, and he has year-round long-range shooting available (from 100 yds to 650 or 850 - can't remember) steel hanging from 200 on out

Has a a heated shed with shooting bench and windows to slide open and stick the barrel out

$20 to shoot as long as you'd like

Very nice guy owns the place- has lived/farmed that property for 40 yrs

You can find info on FB about his range
