I just looked these 1911s up, never heard of them. I got a tisas 1911 a while back and it was just a few dollars less than yours, but mine has ftf fte all the time. I wish I knew about these at the time.
Both problems can be fixed at little cost. You need to take it to a qualified gun smith. I've seen these kind of problems fixed for as little as $50.
 
You shouldn't have any problems with that metro arms 1911 DB. I have the Amigo model (commander) with around 1500 rounds down the pipe and it's never hiccuped once. Great purchase, enjoy. ;)
