This belonged to my great grandfather. I cannot find any marks or stamps on it. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting. In most respects it looks like a Chamelot-Delvigne M-1873 French
Ordnance Revolver. The manual safety is a bit odd. Look closer for marks. The
French marked darned near every part, and at the minimum the Belgian made
guns will have an oval with E L G in it several places.

The fluted cylinder would lean it towards the '74 navy---but the lack of markings
and that manual safety is still a puzzler. I'm going to take a GUESS that it is a
Belgian made copy of a Chamelot-Delvigne 73/74 rather than a St. Etienne made
gun.
