Hello, I would like to see if anyone can help me identify an old gun stock I bought. Looks to me like an old black powder gun or something along those lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's worth whatever you paid for it.

I only paid $69 for my whole gun, lock, stock, and barrel, but that was a few years ago!
I agree. She told me I could have it for free. I only had $10 on me and I wouldn’t take it unless she took the money. Very happy with it.

It's in rough shape and no handguard or end caps but it appears to be a war time stock from what I can see of the splice. Are there any stamps at all on the butt? I'm sure it would be worth something to the right person but no idea on value.

Pretty cool find though.
I only see one little stamp on the stock. I’ll try to get a good pic
