I have a scissor-jack that I have used frequently for 'prolly 20 years .... it works well and is rated at ( if I remember correctly ) one ton .
It's from the Larin Corp. , in Chino, Calif.

I lost the "drive handle" during the winter and won't be able to retrieve it .... so, I called the Larin Corp. to buy a replacement handle.

Spoke with their customer service desk for a couple of minutes and was told that it would cost as much for S. & H. as the cost of the handle .

I said thank you very much and hung-up .... figuring I'm gonna' have to buy a replacement jack.

In yesterday's mail I get a package from Larin .... opened it to find the replacement handle I needed , with a "No Charge" packing slip.

Felt like I had to make y'all aware that there are still considerate, friendly, people in the world .... and , that these folks do sell quality products.

That is a nice story! to them.

I gave B.M.P. products a good review on their fine stretch bands on Amazon and ended it BUY THEM. Well they sent me a free band in a yellow envelope, no letters just the band.

Nice to see nice companies with good products and service out there. :)
