I'm trying to help a friends wife restore his old shotgun that his father gave him, I know the gun is not worth much its a sentimental value.....
New England single shot shotgun 12 gauge.
hard to find trigger guard, nurmich has all the parts but sold out of the trigger guard. checked on eBay and lost bid at last second, on eBay they had additional parts that looked similar but for a different gauge I was thinking that all trigger guard's and trigger group are the same for that model but unsure. please help....

If you want help, you are going to need to post photos of the shotgun so we can determine the model. There are two companies that start with New England.

How much of the gun do you have? That fuzzy picture where you can only read half the writing ain't much to go on.

Oh my manners. Welcome to the forum and we'll do our best to help.

Is there a Model name anywhere on the frame? New England Fire Arms (NERF) made several single shot shotguns. It may be a Pardner, Survival Shotgun, Tamer or Tracker. They all used a similar frame and some of the parts appear to be interchangeable. Hopefully you understand that posting blurry picture of a stripped frame and expecting us to know everything about the parts you need isn't practical.

Try Numrich Gun Parts. Here is a link for the Pardner. They don't have a trigger guard in stock for this model.

Here is a link for the Tamer. They have a trigger guard, but we are not even sure if this is even the right model.
