New pistol

I bought a 11.5 Bear Creek upper with bcg. Today was the first time it’s been fired. Loaded 3 steel cased (I know steel ain’t the best for AR’s) 62gr rounds 1st failure to eject, second failure to return to battery 3 failed to feed.
New mag upper was cleaned prior. Wiped everything down reassembled tried again same results.
On a whim I pulled a different bcg and it fired 3 rounds perfectly.
Both bcgs are full auto profiles. The Bear Creek didn’t function but my PSA bcg was flawless.
Staking issue on Bear Creek bcg?

Staking issue? easy enough to figure out. Is the Carrier Key lose on the BCG? If not, then it's not an issue.
Bear Creek has a good reputation and good products. Write them and they will warranty the upper or the BCG if that's the problem. Before sending anything back, you might consider bathing the BCG in oil - wipe if down and try a thin layer of Lucas Gun Grease

I've never heard of BCA selling a full auto profile BCG  Why would you want the additional mass on your BCG - that in itself can be an issue.

That’s my thought was looking for ideas. I’m going to put the BCA bcg in a different upper and see what happens. The front screw was a little loose but idk.
Thanks for your thoughts

My M&P 15 is a semi auto bolt carrier

It’s definitely full auto bolt carrier. Never been an issue with any other AR’s I’ve built and have always used the heavier carrier. This is just the first pistol I’ve built and it’s my way of flipping the bird to the atf as except for my M&P all my AR’s are undocumented.😂😂😂

So the lower is unserialized?
I’ll neither confirm nor deny.
