With a baby on the way what was my reloading room is now fully carpeted, and getting painted pink, and purple lol. Now my work bench, and everything got moved into our bedroom. Having my huge workbench in there was really making things a hassle, and taking up the majority of our room. We have a smaller house so there was really no where else for it. I mean heck until we get things better organized my 1,000 watt PA system is in my kitchen lol.
I sat down, and really started thinking about how I was going to do a smaller bench, and what would make it work. I then started think about the crap that has gone on with Ferguson, and how we are the first " safe zone " for the West Lake Landfill fallout. I decided I wanted to make it as portable as possible, and be set up to be a two man workstation with one person working on each side, or have a shotgun press on one side, and a single stage or turret press on the other. I searched around at different companies portable presses. I ended up going with the Frankford Arsenal one. I have it almost finished, and will hopefully post some pics today.
Now mind you my 12 gauge set up is a bit weird. I reload 12 gauge for hunting, and my hunting and fishing is our food source so I make sure every powder charge is exact as is the pellet count so I weigh each one. I also have a single stage press on it. I've noticed that it is more relaxing for me, and I am more focused when using a single stage over my turret press. Which I did find a good home for my turret press. I have a buddy who has been wanting to get into reloading, but hasn't been able to afford all the stuff. I'm actually thinking of doing a video on how to make one.
It is not quiet finished, but so far this is what it looks like.
