New to me Remington 700

Looking to replace this repaired factory stock, not sure I trust it will hold.
Recent acquisition with about 100 rounds of ammunition. I don’t know enough about it other than the guy I got it from let his left handed buddy shoot it and it split the web between his index finger and thumb!
Any recommendations on replacement stock is appreciated.
