Is it Lebel or Berthier? There is no cutout on the bolt face to allow cartridges to feed up from below.

It is a bolt for the Fusil d' Infanterie Mle.1886/93 dit "Lebel".
It has the modified bolt head (tete mobile) and cocking piece (chien) that was upgraded in 1893. The upgrade to the bolt head was done to allow for gas to be safely vented in case a primer was pierced. The cocking piece originally had 2 indentations that allowed it to be placed on a "half cock" notch or a dry fire practice notch but was eliminated with as being unpractical as the 1886 Series of Firearms didn't have safeties.
The easiest way to tell the Lebel and Berthier bolts apart is the locking lugs on the bolt head of the Lebel are straight up and down and the Berthiers are at the opposite side of the bolt head.
