Nice rifle you will enjoy shooting it but your wife may object to having to ride in the backseat on the trip home:)

Wow! Great looking rifle! Are you going to use shooting sticks and if so are you going to make them? I was going to make mine but decided I really don't have the correct tools for carpentry, so I bought mine one for bench shooting and one for shooting in a sitting position.

Well congratulations Mak. The wait is finally over and, as others have mentioned, that is a fine looking rifle. I see Shiloh hasn't lost their touch. Now, as if this even needs said, go home and enjoy that thing!

    Thanks all!
I already have two shooting sticks I use with my 1873 Springfield trapdoor, a prone set and seated set. One from Buffalo Arms and the other from Shiloh.
Brought them with me, Dad, in MN will fire the first shot as I brought some smokeless rounds and cleaning kit. He turns 90 this Sat so we are visiting. In ND now, eta to Hugo MN 5 hrs.

Beautiful gun. Well worth the wait.

Enjoy shooting it, and give us a range report.

You my friend are a good man to let your father shoot the first round.
I just wish mine were here to do anything with me.

The one I picked would cost $3,686.00.
    That's a nice rifle.
I went down the list, if course it's a wish list.

If Quigley were real, he'd be saluting in his grave.
