Out of state purchase

    I'm looking to buy a handgun from a guy in Ohio and I live in Indiana. I know it has to be processed through an FFL here in Indiana but does it necessarily have to be shipped or can I bring it back myself an take it in to be transferred?

    If it's in your possession, the transfer has already happened. That's not OK.

    The owner can bring it to an Indiana FFL, who can then transfer it to you. Or you can pay for the shipping.

    I guess a third option is to set up your own courier service to carry this package, but I don't think that's a worthwhile option to even try to figure out.
