This pistol belongs to a friend of mine and we're trying to find out what it's worth. The pictures aren't all that great but the pistol is in absolute mint condition.

This is a WWII Pacific Theater Commemorative .45 in stainless steel.

Well,This is one of those things that it is hard to put a price tag on, however just to get you started. The 23 Edition of the Standard Catalog lists the following information, Issued in 1970 at 250.00$, 11,500 total made, Current value 1,000. That is NIB with all papers.

Yea - I was figuring it was somewhere in the $1000+ range and not much more on the plus side. It does have the original box and papers but the box doesn't look new.
