Ok so my nephew just bought a Panzer M2 semi-auto shotgun which is supposed to be a direct clone of the Benelli M2. Its inertia driven, he said he loaded it up with 2 3/4" Federal 7.5 shot game load. He fired a round and the hull ejected rolled across his arm and onto the ground. He text me and asked me what to do. I told him take it apart and lube it up better. He did that and said it was bone dry but now its nice and lubed and sending the empties about a foot out. I said if its anything like my Stoeger M3000, it probably needs around a 200 round break in. So he went out and bought 3 boxes of 3" federal 1 1/4oz lead game loads. about 2 boxes in he noticed the muzzle was bulged. This started a week long cat n mouse email game with Panzer. Panzer said if they have a barrel in stock they will send it to him right away, if not he would have to send the gun to them and they would ship a new gun. The Pawn and gun where he bought it said if Panzer wasn't going to pay for shipping it back they would ship it out for him no charge. My nephew asked them if they wanted him to send the barrel back to them. They said keep it, a qualified gunsmith may be able to shorten the barrel and re thread it to for a choke. So has anyone had any experience with Panzer good or bad?

My buddy has a Panzer & I have a Typhoon F 12 both made in Turkey. He hasn't had any problems & I had a few before it was broken in but since then it's been 100%. Turns out to be the best semi auto I've had in 12 ga.

You were correct on the need of a break-in period. I have a couple and consider both of them to be well made. Never a problem with either once the break-in was complete but that did have to happen followed by another good cleaning and lube. Proper break-in is always a necessity no matter what brand or type of gun you buy.
