No, the SC design is shorter than the Officer's grip. I own several Officer's 1911s with zero issues. You will see that the SC grip is just a small grip.

Well, I picked it up (seller shipped it in a bubble envelope), brought it home and cleaned it. Finish wasn't that great, but I got it cleaned & lubed, grabbed a crappy box of Russian FMJ's and a box of Federal LE JHP's.
I loaded up a mag (tight springs...only held 9), put up a target at 10 yards, got a proper grip and fired. Woo Hoo I thought. Fired a couple or 3 more & then it happened. Bullet nose-dived before entering the barrel. I went through 6 or 7 mags worth of ammo and had anywhere between 1-3 failures per mag.
I'll call the seller tomorrow, but on his listing he stated no returns, no refunds.
Funny, he said they function check all their weapons. I wonder what they consider function testing?
    Guess I got a $350 paperweight.

Sorry to hear of your issues.
Hopefully the seller cooperates and helps.
A $100 loss is better than a $350 loss, IMO.
    Good luck!

I would try one more thing that would cost you the prize of a magazine. Try buying one that is a hybrid that will handle the ball ammo, hollow points and semi wadcutters. If this works you get to keep your gun, if not you've spent another 30 bucks but you can keep the magazine for another 1911.

This is a double stack 10 round magazine.
I would need a Para P-10 to use it on if it didn't work on this Llama.
Besides, I've already listed it on a firearm auction site and already have a bid (thank God!).

Would a RIA model M1911-A1CS TACT II give me the same feeding issues as the Llama?

    Easy now...I'm retired.
I have to sneak money out of the checkbook every now & then & the boss lady is too good at figuring bills!

Of course not. You are comparing a Spanish pistol to an actual 1911 built on CNC machinery.

Also, you have an actual company still in business that stands behind it's product!
    Big difference.

I was given one of the Llama 45’s the next size up from your pistol, all chrome with a double stack mag. Function wise there is no problem but it is all steel so heavy and holding the fat grip is like holding a 2X4. It spends it’s time in the safe.
