It looks like a Smith & Wesson No1 and 1/2 in 32 Rimfire with a broken hammer spur. Probably factory nickeled with aged ivory grips. Value is in the 200 to 250 dollar range. Would be more if not for the broken hammer.

Forgot to mention do not clean the gun much beyond juts wiping it down with a soft cloth. It has a patina that too over 100 years to create and it can be destroyed in a few minutes by over aggressive cleaning.
Thank You. If you had it would you look to have it restored, sell, keep?

Leave it as is. Presently in the $200+ range. IMO, restored value; far less than restoration cost. Keep it.

Leave it as is, even with the broken hammer. Just wipe it down.

I agree, that it LOOKS like a Smith and Wesson.

But if it was my gun, and I was posting pictures asking "what kind is this?", I'd have a picture of the top of the barrel-rib, where (if it really is a Smith and Wesson) it SAYS it's a Smith and Wesson.
