Hello all, I am wondering if anybody could give me any info on this gun.
It was my granfathers, then passed down to my mother, now it has been passed down to me?
My mother, did send it back to smith & wesson for it
to be cleaned up. But other than that I don't know much about it.
Thank you to anyone who can help me.

Looks like a new departure double action, .32 made between 1888-1937
    .38 made between 1887-1941
also called a safety hammerless revolver

A caliber and a serial number would help in figuring out just what it is you have there. Exactly what kind of information are you looking for?
