Take the grips off, show the bottom of the grip, show the left and the right side of the gun without the grip hiding half of it.

It appears to me that the barrel has been replaced. That means that the serial number on the barrel flat might not be the correct number. Let's see the number on the bottom of the grips.

I don't believe it's a Smith & Wesson. The shape of the frame, diameter of the ejector rod, knob on ejector, and stampings as others have mentioned make me think it's not.
