would you reccomend one? i'm going to a show next weekend and there is a vendor that has them.. medium ok prices.
welded stock.. i figured it must be that.
do they weld the hing points or is the wire stock actually welded to the reciever? not sure i'd be keen on that for metal safety.. though it does look stamped and not cast.
They actually spot weld to the top of the receiver. The safety is stamped and it is rather hard to flip so be aware of that. Overall they are pretty stout. I almost bought one but a co worker was selling his M14 which ace'd that out but I would still consider one
yes, another worry.. which is why i asked. i figure dit must be welded somewhere. i didn't even see the rcvr cover welds really.. had figured the stock hinge was welded. otherwise you have? what? an unreg sbr it seems.
thus my worry about the weak rcvr cover welds, if the hinge is not also welded.
if the hinge is welded. no issues.
anyone now if the hinge is also welded? ssems this would be a must almost?
Classic Firearms has the PPS-43C Pistol at 439 bucks.
