Questions on US Revolver Co .32

    1. Is this a blackpower or smokeless pistol.
    2. Year made if possible.
    3. Is the cylinder free-wheeling or does it need repaired.
    4. Serial number is 55287. NO prefix letter under left hand grip
    5. US REVOLVER CO/MADE IN USA, on top of barrel.

    It was made in 1913, and is considered a black powder frame gun. It is not safe for modern smokeless ammo.

    This model of US Revolver was made from surplus Iver Johnson 2nd Model Safety Automatic revolvers and the cylinder on these would free spool. It should lock up once the trigger is pulled.
