I have a "small" (38" total length) Remington .22 that was my first gun. It's a pump, has a tube bullet feed and shoots shorts, longs, or LR.

It's clearly marked Remington . . . but no model number that I can find. The barrel refers to "Pedersen's Patents" in the 1909 to 1912 era.

Can anyone shed any light on the model, value or anything else of interest about this gun?

Can email a picture if that would help.

    Thanks,
    Bob Christensen

That sounds a whole lot like the early pump Rem my friend's got. I'll ask him if he knows more about it. He got it from his Grandfather, so it's damn old too.

Mine has a round barrel and shoots S, L, & LR.

There is a picture at: www.remington.com/aboutus...ry/m12.htm

John Gyde at www.antiquegunroom.com/ answered a question that sounds just like my gun . . . he called it a 12-A.

    Thanks again!
