Rick and I were at a small local gun show today and this gentleman walks in with a #4 Remington rolling block 32 Long RF. Not bad for $250.

You're going to have to redesign that gun case. That rolling block won't fit that way.

The bore is fair. It still has rifling.

But even if I did, FFL transfer fee, Back ground check fee, shipping.... And then it wouldn't be a good deal 😔

Rae, so you get charged a FFL fee and a background ck fee? At least here it's rolled into one charge about $30 to $35.00.

Move to Alabama. I can put you on to a guy that only charges $20

One LGS here is only $10. Another is free for me because I do a lot of business with them.

My LGS only charges ten bucks for a transfer. His logic is that it brings people into his shop and they might buy other items.

I'll put you on Rae's email list, she finds all the .32 rimfire roller deals, but I have to keep telling her, no one makes ammo! That girl spends way too much time on the internet looking for Rolling blocks! That's usually why they're in good shape, the ammo was already becoming obsolete, when the guns were still being made. The only option now, is the special reloadable brass that uses a blank for a primer.

What a beauty. Maybe I should start going to shows again. I gave up a few years ago because all I saw was boring plastic tactical stuff.

I wouldn't hesitate to convert it to centerfire, and reline it, if your plan is to shoot it. These are great little guns, and whether you went to .22LR, or .32 Long CF, it would be a fun shooter.
These days a $250 Roller #4 is a bargain. All of the various Sporting models go higher, except maybe the little #6.
