I have an old Remington model 33. This is a single shot, bolt action .22. Fixed open sights. Made in Ilion N.Y.I see no serial number on it. It's condition is average. It's something to put in the barn, I'd guess. I don't think it would be worth much, but I don't know for sure. It's been around a while. Thanks for the help!

Re: Remington model 33
It's unfortunate, but the old Remington just have not obtained the collector status that the Winchesters have. Absolute mint specimens are beginning to show some interest, but the run of the mill guns are just shooter value only.

A lot of pre-1968 single shot .22s were not serialized......I still have my first gun, a Springfield (made by J. Stevens) youth-sized single shot bolt action serial number on that one either. It was my best Christmas present, ever!

I doubt if your Remington has much $$$$ value, but I'll bet it would make a great "first gun" for some kid.
