It helps to grip them to decide which feels better in the hand.
The Baby Eagle is a CZ75 clone which feels much better in my hand than a 1911. But that's me and everybody is different.
The Baby Eagle is a clone from a smaller company. As a clone it may or may not take CZ parts (??). The RIA is a 1911 and takes all the 1911 parts. I have a full size one that I heavily modified internally (for the fun of it as a project but it really didn't need it) and all the 1911 after market internals fit without modification except for the safety which had to be fitted.
So take your choice. Either one is much better choice than a plastic gun.
I have the Baby Eagle ( Jericho ) both in 9mm & 45acp.would be the last ones I would part with.Strong.well built accurate.reliable. easy to handle. In Europe the 9mm is still available, althogh there are not as many as there was; but the 45 has disapeared even though there is a long waiting list.
