    Welcome to TFF.

    You need to take clear pictures of that part of the blade on both sides just before it goes into the hand guard and grip. Most often that is stamped with the year of manufacture and info to identify it. Also, post a clear picture of the whole thing (it is a bayonet). Measure the length of the blade and post how long it is. Same thing with the scabbard.

    More often than not - the markings on the wooden grips are just marks put there by the using entity and not the actual manufacturer of the bayonet.

    Hi Chris, welcome to TFF from Sitka, Alaska. I believe what you have there is a Japanese Type 30 bayonet. A clear photo of the blade markings will indicate which arsenal produced it.
