Newest acquisition, a very nice condition S&W revolver in .32 rf. Mechanically, it's in very good shape with very little slop to the barrel hinge, the point of it's greatest weakness. The overall bluing is excellent for it's age and the cylinder advances and indexes perfectly, again with almost no slop when it's in battery. The chambers and bore show signs of pitting but the rifling is still good and I'd estimate it at 8-8-1/2 out of 10 in overall condition (conservatively). I'm not sure if it's a model 1-1/2 so maybe one of you good folks could chime in and let me know if I'm correct or not. Thanks for looking, and enjoy a nice old piece of history.
