Saddle Sarge had to come down out of the Mountains for some training. I had the night off from school. So we hooked up in Pleasanton, Ca. Sarge was 8 hours from home. I just took a roundabout drive after work.

We started off with a few cocktails & yakked like we had known each other for years. I'm glad we took the time meet in person. Decent meal @ the Black Angus & we had a real nice evening.

Sarge is probably on the road home, now. Happy Trails Sarge!

That is so great! I imagine it would be like that, meeting forum friends. I hope so, because I plan to meet some!

    Thats great Bruce.
That's one of the downsides of having such a large country. Everybody is so spread out. It makes getting together so hard. Thank God for the net.

Big country, lots of places to hide. Buddy up with an indian or redneck and a cajan. Not only will you have plenty to eat, you will eat well.

It would be great to have a West Coast meet-up for those of us who can't make it to the East or Midwest. Anyone feel inspired to plan that? :)

Had a great time and Bruce is right, we just started yakkin' like old chums. Had a great time. By the time we parted company, it felt like we had known each other for years! Cheers!;)
