Acquired this under glass. Any help on determining value or any direction in that area is most appreciated.

Roth-Sauer Model 1900, prices sold at auctions are all over the place, anywhere from $2500 to $6K for one in mint condition. Ones in condition equal to yours were in the $3500 to $4K range.

TRAP, that is simply amazing. What makes them that valuable?

I don't get it either. They were made for a short time, and chambered in a .32 cal Roth cartridge when all the other makers were going with the .32acp.

So this is evidently a case where age, scarcity AND being unusual do make something valuable....yes?
