After looking at the savage model 10 308 rifle at the savage site I should of bought it before I wasted my money on the savage 10/110 trophy rifle 308 because I really did want a good long range accurate target rifle such as the savage 10 but oh well now i have my hunting 308 and next will be the savage 10 308 rifle that I will buy.

so just buy a heavy barrel for you current savage.

You can get a high quality bull barrel from shilen, Mcgowen, Bartelain, Bergara, Pac nor, etc for les than what youd spend on another factory gun.

ill do that, whats the best barrel that you would recommend and how much should i expect to pay for it? how much would an accustock cost? i think the savage 10 has a threaded barrel so you could put a silencer on it. id like to put a silencer on my .308 as well

I have a Model 10 Precision Carbine in 223.. all I can say is .. wow

I love shooting my fire formed reloads through that thing
