need help dating this old .22. I believe it is a savage 29 but all that is labeled on the gun is "premier trailblazer" it is a .22 slide action octagon barrel serial #5340 k IMG_1013.JPG IMG_1014.JPG

I can't tell you anything about your rifle other than to say it is beautiful.

Not a Savage Model 29. Made by Mossberg, sold by Monkey Ward in the 1927 / 1930. It was the Mossberg Model M, the round barrel carbine was the Model K:). Street value , well, don't know but book value is 320 excellent..

Thank you for the replys and info RJay. All i know is its a blast to shoot and very accurate, i love this gun. I just never knew much about it.

Well, just for information, I under stand the resemblance to the Savage 29 is due to the fact that Mossberg used two Savage patents on it.
