    Wow.

This is the first I've heard of this resolution. Is this something that was actually passed by the Austin city council, or did Alex Jones just present it to them for consideration?

I must say I agree wholeheartedly with it. This is coming to a crisis, folks. We have got to stop shrugging it off and pretending that it isn't real.

It probably will go to the Austin Couincil. But it is also is
a model resolution for others to use in their cities by changing the wording to fit their cities.

1952, do you listen to the Alex Jones daily radio show?

No I don't. I don't live in Austin, but I have family members that do.

What station is he on? I wonder if I can pick it up in San Antonio.

I caught part of a program a few months ago that could have been him.... but I never caught the name of the host. The stuff he was talking about sure got me riled up though.

Does anyone know the identities of the 30 cities Alex is referring too?

Has this sort of proposal been brought before any state legislatures yet?

hey 1952, there is probably someone in your area that is
rebroadcasting his show onto the FM dial(pirates) there are many of them you would have to surf the FM dial between the
hours of 11 am to 2 pm and again at 9pm and 12am central
time. Or go to www.infowars.com where it says listen live or
go to www.gcnlive.com the network website, they have several streams where you can click on and listen on your
computer, i heard it is the # 1 on the net being listened to.
Unless you have a 10' dish like i am using to listen to.
This network is on 24/7 with some of the best talk radio
    around.

Hey chas, ibelieve it is for cities and city councils. not really
for legislatures. I don't know which 30 cities are taking part
in this creating a stir. I know one of the cities in my state
    is involved.

I would be surprised to see city council members flaunting federal law by enacting a resolution like that.

    Pleased, but surprised.....

Alex Jones was on shortwave radio before webcasting became popular. In North Carolina, I can pick up his evening broadcast now, on 5.085 MHz (10pm-1am est). I forget where the transmitter is located (Tennessee?), but will post if I can remember to listen for this.

Anyone else listen to shortwave? I have a small Sangean ATS-808, doesn't have single side band. Must admit, though, that I use it less, since there's so much radio broadcasting available on the internet. However, if TSHTF, very likely the internet will be restricted. Something to think about.

Back on topic, isn't Austin reputed to be a very liberal city? Is this an issue where the far right and the far left are coming together? Interesting.

Hey Hammer, transmitter is in Minnesota.
I listen to Alex with a 10' satellite dish.
Go to www.gcnlive.com and listen to Alex and all the other
radio programs 24/7, real talk radio. Pass the word around,
inform others. I heard Alex is # 1 on the net.

Yes, unfortunately, Austin is about the most liberal city in Texas. Being the capital, it attracts all kinds of weirdos. They even have a campaign going right now called "Keep Austin Weird". Buncha blue-haired freaks......
