Have an old Model 25 that when cleaning 30 years ago, lost the extractor, plunger, and spring. Decided it was time to order parts and make functional. Problem is I can't seem to get the spring and plunger to push into the bolt far enough to install extractor. Could anyone give me any hint as to how I can assemble this without launching pieces across the room? I'm new to the forum. Thanks in advance.

It's a High Standard Model A104 or A1041. Save yourself a lot of time on your hands and knees, looking for the launched pieces. Assemble inside a plastic bag.
Insert spring, then the plunger with the flat side facing in. Then start the extractor, and use a penny across the bolt face to snap it into place. That tip on the factory tip is rounded, repro part is sharp! Installing either one, the penny makes it easier, and no, you probably won't get it the first try, and you'll be glad you had a plastic bag.
