I have a colt m1991a1 frame, will a series 90 slide work on it?

I went the other way, ripping the Series 80 guts from my M1991A1, converting it to a pseudo-Series 70. Improved the trigger pull.

I've heard of people doing that, but what I need to know is if an 80 series frame will accept the 90 series slide.
