Hello all;
I own a Sharps '1859 patented' 4-barrel derringer.
It seems to shoot 22 shorts just fine. (Yes I know it may not be designed for this now after reading the threads here).
I have 2 questions:
1. The numbers on the barrel assembly are 5 digits, is this an upgraded barrel assembly of some sort? For reference, the pistol and the trigger both have 3 digit markings.
2. It has a super-hair-trigger, that seems to fire the pistol in the slightest breeze, is this normal? Can it be repaired somehow?
thanks for your help.
Chuck
