I had four bypasses in Oct, a stroke, and pneumonia in both lungs, so I haven't been in my knifemaking shop since September, until today. My cardiologist told me last week, after a heart cath, I could do anything I want, within reason. Nothing heavy yet. My shop is loaded with cob webs, so I decided to do some cleaning and ran across 2500 rounds of .22 ammo I forgot I rat-holed about a year ago. Now that's a good day!!

Very nice indeed Tom, I am sure you will put the ammo to good use.

As a knife maker I thought I would mention two elderly gents I know called the Middleton brothers. They make knives in Sheffield, here in the UK. They are third or fourth generation knife makers, but sadly have no one to carry on the name or trade.

My daughter always got on with them and has several of their skinners, with various handle materials. A small collection if you like. I attach a picture of one of theirs I own. Hope its of interest.

It is good to hear that things are getting better for you and that you found the ammo.
Having gone through a lot of heart problems trust me when I say DON'T PUSH IT, I was hardheaded and a work-a-holic and just didn't listen to the doctors so after the fourth or fifth heart attack I finally slowed down. We will not ever get well but we can live a fun life if we just don't push to hard.

That would be a pleasant surprise indeed! I hope you're feeling better. What you described is an awful lot for a person to go through! :(

Moved up here 2 years ago, still unpacking. Always a thrill when I find a box of ammo, brass, primers, dies etc. Trantor love the knife. More photos if you please.

Glad to hear that things are looking up! You've had a rough fall and winther, now go have some fun!

Do you have a web page for your knives? Am always on the lookout for a unique knife. If no web page, post some pics of ones you have for sale in the "for sale" forum.

Carver, I don't have one single knife completed. I haven't worked on any since September. After I clean up my shop I need to get to work and finish up some that I was working on before everything happened.

Super good news Tom, and I'm not talking about the cool score of ammo either.

It is really good to hear that you are doing good now. Yaaaa
