Only if the feds agree with the protest.
Creating racial strife? Loot and burn to your heart's content.
Protest being locked in your house?
Oh boy, you are going to jail.

Keep a system together that you can shoot accurately with in the dark.

What happened to water canons? Can't the rioters be funnelled into a funnel area, turn the water canon on and wash them into a penned up area where they can be detained. No bond for rioters. They stay in jail and get the full force of the law.

I understand Todd. I was standing on the corner of a busy street in Pomona, Ca using a pay phone when the verdict was handed down on the cops that beat Rodney King. This is what kicked off the LA Riots. There I am wearing a white shirt and tie looking about as white as a guy could right in the middle of what I’ll call “a culturally diverse area” and didn’t have a clue what was happening. The Good Lord has his protective hand on me that day for sure.

Stay safe and alert. Prayers for safety. None here, but there were some protests that turned ugly in my hometown of Springfield MO.

I heard there was a couple scheduled for little ol' Rolla, Mo. Supposedly one was this afternoon and another for June 7th. What the Sam Hill they gonna gain here? Evidently there was a protest in Jeff. City as well?

I wish I knew how to find what the Maries County Sheriff posted on bookface. To abridge it, he said he'd been asked if Maries County LEO's could handle any protests. His reply was most Maries County residents are armed and I encourage them to defend their families and property with their arms. Should the Sheriff's dept. need help I am certain I can count on a sizeable, armed posse of Maries County citizens.

There were protests north of me in Eugene, several businesses had their windows broken out, several others had their owners defending their businesses and were for the most part left alone.

Here in town Walmart closed at 5 PM because the protest group said they were going to protest there "because small towns were not participating enough."

They must have changed their minds, most small towns and rural areas not along the coastline are not very progressive and most of the residents have firearms. :)

For the most part it was calm, when compared to other cities. Probably because they know the percentage of armed people is large.

It stayed in retail areas and never went residential. Otherwise it would have turned real ugly, real fast.

Our city, county and state officials handled it quite well. From the get go they said unrest and violence will NOT be tolerated. It seems they have moved on to Rapid City for tonight and kind of settled down

So, I guess the protesters changed their minds about last night, and rescheduled it for tonight.

The police chief issued a subtle warning, he said if you here lots of gunfire this afternoon, don't be alarmed, it's just townsfolk checking out their hunting rifles and sighting them in. :)

So have you and the missus unloaded all 2,000 rounds that you had loaded up and staged?

I've had a think. This has spread across the US, and there are protests going on around the world now. Why the global spread is beyond the scope of this thread.

I suggest we pray that God would sort this out. He is creative and can come up with any number of solutions. My best idea is that we ask God to send a cold deluge of rain on these cities that would send these protesters/rioters/troublemakers scurrying for cover and home.
