Thanks Steve! Made a category right up my alley. Always looking to discuss semi-auto pistols from the Eibar Region of Spain, 1900 to 1950. Astras, Stars, Llamas, Jo Lo Ars, Campo Giros - you name it.

I love the 9mm Largo round, and collect the military Astras, Stars, and Llamas. I also hold a fascination for the 1914 to 1916 Eibar pattern 32ACP pistols produced for the French for WWI. Must be dozens of different manufacturer names on the same basic pistol. Most folks now days just refer to all of them as "Ruby".

The little 25ACP pistols are a hoot too - must be hundreds of different names - "Libia" "Destructor" "Looking Glass" "Bufalo" "Vencedor" "Excelsior" - all the same little semi-auto.

Come to think of it Bob, I think quite a few years ago I
had one of the Excelsior pistols and this fella kept after
me to sell it to him which I finally did but I couldn't
figure out why he wanted it so bad but I guess he collected
    them too.

Glad you like the C&R Forum, I'm trying to make this site
a little different than the rest and I think that a C&R
    Forum is a must.

Great to have you aboard, I hope folks will drop in and
    post on this site too.

Speaking of Spanish steel, anyone remember Toledo?
I'm sorry for butting in here, but when I saw the heading of this department, I thought it was devoted to Homer and Me,
