I just wondering what a Springfield trapdoor 1866 all original 3 ring musket 50/70 with 2 cartouches never fired in like new condition is worth. We just got it at a civil war auction at an estate sale in Florida yesterday and a few other things too.
Thanks Jerry in Florida

Assuming all original (barrel in-the-white), not the carbine or a Bannerman gun, $3000-$3500 plus in that condition.

It is in white and it is not a carbine or bannerman. The pic you have there LIKTOSHOOT is nice but no offense this one we got is in like new condition. I was a little concerned , I paid a$1050. for it.There were a couple of 1868's that went for $700. and $500.

Not meant to insult, just to see if it was the same. Had you paid 1800, it still would have been a deal. Best LTS
