picked up another swiss vet the other day.. as if I don't have enough.. this one has been sportered at some point in it's like. the cut on the wood in front of the first bbl band ahead of the rcvr looks to be an older vintage cut. I'd presume since it is in 41 rim fire and sportered that it was done many, many, many ys ago back when that ammo might have still been plentiful.

i bought it maily for the metal... i paid 50$ given that it's sportered.. not sure if i got took or not...

here's a preliminary pic.

metal has even patina.. bolt appears to function fine.. etc

any ideas as to value.. not that i'm selling it.. just wondering if as is with wood cut if it's more than worthless..e tc.

i had been kinda thinking if i ever say a vet that was missing a bolt.. .. like a parts gun.. or was badly rusted..e tc.. that i might preform a furniture transplant and .. even if mismatched.. it would least be complete.

i have another similar later model... etc.. i'm a sucker for them i guess. didn't pay much more or maybee the same for that one as well.

opinion?
