To the readers at TFF, a little piece about Starline Brass. A while back I was loading some .44 Specials, using Starline brass and through my own fault I happened to destroy one of the cases. What had happened was I didn't get enough flare and chamfer on the cases mouth, and when seating a jacketed bullet I crushed the case. The problem was obviously the nut holding the press handle. I called the people at Starline and explained what I had done and tried to purchase another case to bring my count back to 100. The woman at the other end took my name and address and said that there would no charge for the a replacement case, and it would be sent my way as soon as possible. A short time later a package with 2 cases arrived with an invoice that said no charge. This is a quality company that sell a very high quality product, and I would recomend them and their product to anyone.

Cabelas still has 45 ACP Starline brass for $22/100. I just ordered a couple thousand in fear of not being able to get it if Big Ears gets nutty on us. I've never loaded 45 acp, bought Starline on what you all said here.

When finances allow I prefer to start my new workups in new brass, and Starline is my goto brand. I've never had a problem with the product, but I'm happy to hear that should one occur, they are willing to correct it. I was beginning to think the practice of customer service was a dying art. Glad you had a good experience.

Well, I guess I will be buying from Starline nx time, thanks. Do they make riffle brass or just pistol brass? I paid $229/1000 with free shipping from Big "C" and was happy to get it, ha ha. I learned another lesson from you'ins; Thanks.

Straight wall pistol brass only, and they do a great job of it.
