Until they start making revolvers chambered for just the .41 Special, I don't see anything earth shattering about this. However perhaps the fabled .41 Python might now be possible if Colt ever resumes Python production.
I've never shot a .41 but I have read about it for years. Elmer Keith talked about it in his book "Hell I was There". (copies of that book are harder to find than .41 brass) Seems like one of those great ideas that fit in between two other great ideas and there just wasn't a market. If it had been introduced before the .44 magnum, it might have succeeded in the market instead of the .44 because it's a bit friendlier to the shooter. Hard to say.
