Very cool! I'd be interested to see what it does when the block of steel is secured to something solid, so that it must absorb all the energy of the round instead of being flipped over.

Penetrated ferther into that block of steel than what I thought it would have.

I have seen some of the old Norinco steel core ammo, 7.62X39 (sold in the US back in the 90's) shoot thru 1" steel plate. The steel was set against a dirt back stop, so all the energy went into punching thru the plate. I still have about 600-700 rounds of that stuff.

Set up a barrier, say 2 dirt mounds, right next to each other, fire and hide. Wait 5 seconds and go on out.
