Back in September I had a post about stopping an oncoming car using a 9 mm pistol. Everyone convinced me that the people in the TV show was doing it right - shooting through the windshield at the driver. Doing it like I was thinking - shooting through the grill at the engine - would not work.
Now I got another scenario. Different TV series.
Instead of oncoming car, he's passing. You're standing at the side of the road and he's coming by from your right to your left. You have a 12 gauge shotgun loaded with buckshot. Where would you shoot?
And the TV show he shot the driver's window and the driver. As I watched it I thought he would have done better shooting the front tire. If you take out a tire, it's going to slow him down trying to drive on a flat. And if you take out the front tire it's going to screw up the steering, which might cause him to go off the road entirely.
How would y'all do it? 12 gauge, double aught buck, one shot as he's going by. Going by right to left, so the driver side is facing you as he crosses.
