I have inherited a Smith & Wesson revolver which was purchased new in 2000. It is in excellent condition, never fired. I have the original sales receipt $388 - what is its value today?

Well, everything is determined by overall condition and its finish (blued, nickled, etc). Very good+ is sold for $250 at J&G Sales down to $200 for Good condition.

    Good pictures helps, too.

I've bought several from between $250 and $400, which is pretty much normal range for the Northern Virginia area.

Since it is unfired & you have the paperwork, I think you can get your
money back. A new M64 has a MSRP of $782.00. Good luck.
