I have one, but it is back at Taurus getting repaired - broken transfer bar after 350 rounds. It has a VERY stiff trigger pull so DA is almost not even usable by weaker hands, but it does well SA. My dad has one and hasn't had any issues so far. If I had it to do over I am not sure if I would buy another one - I would have to think hard about buying a Ruger or S&W. I am hoping my opinion changes when it comes back with some new parts though. When the transfer bar broke it chipped the seer part of the hammer and bent the trigger slightly so it should be about brand new when it returns.
thanks for the info - i also bought one which is in their shop for a transfer rod failure after a similar amount of rounds fired- am of the same idea that wait and see how it all turns out as i liked the gun before this

When I initially called them they were just going to send me a transfer bar, but then when I found the additional damage I had to send it in b/c they won't ship hammers and triggers. They were supposedly going to cancel the transfer bar being shipped to me, but one showed in the mail a couple days ago so now I have a spare. Hopefully, it won't be needed!
