I bought my son a taurus pt92 for Xmas. I took him to the range today and we shot a few hundred rounds. He had 3 misfires out of 150 rounds. They were from Winchester ammo. My reloads worked fine no misfires. The rounds that misfired shot out of my ruger p95 just fine. Is that something I should be worried about or is the gun just breaking in. My ruger had no issues of the sort when I got it. Let me know.

It could be either an ammo or a gun issue. I think I would give the Taurus a bit more of a chance, but meantime clean it good and make sure there is good firing pin protrusion.

If possible try different types of ammo in the gun. Some guns just don't like some makes of ammo.

I have had issues with 9mm Winchester White Box ammo too. I found that my 9mms like the cheap Federal Champion stuff from Wal-mart better.
