tc.scout carbine

    i have a scout rifle thats been with me 30 or more years almost new try to think what i used to use for a load and how much and what ever else think i am going to give it a work out next week

    What caliber, 50 or 54? For a 50 start with 50 grains of 2f or 3f black powder. A good starting a 54 is 60 grains. If you are using a black powder substitute I would start with the same charges.

    well its a 50 cal and it was close to 80 3f with a maxie i just forgot about this gun have a few of all kinds thanks that was good info thanks
